A U.S. official confirmed the U.S. Coast Guard pursued an oil tanker in international waters near Venezuela, and British maritime risk management group Vanguard, along with a U.S. maritime security source, identified the vessel as Bella 1. The vessel tracking data showed the most recent location of the tanker at the Caribbean sea on December 17, 2025.

أعلنت موسكو الجمعة أن الولايات المتحدة قررت إطلاق سراح اثنين من أفراد طاقم ناقلة النفط الروسية التي احتجزتها في وقت سابق من هذا الأسبوع في شمال المحيط الأطلسي.

وقالت المتحدثة باسم وزارة الخارجية الروسية ماريا زاخاروفا في بيان "استجابة لطلبنا، قرر الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الإفراج عن مواطنين روسيين كانا على متن ناقلة النفط "مارينيرا" التي احتجزتها الولايات المتحدة سابقا خلال عملية في شمال الأطلسي".

وأضافت "نرحب بهذا القرار ونعرب عن امتناننا للقيادة الأميركية"، من دون أن توضح عدد المواطنين الروس الذين كانوا على متن الناقلة.
